RDS Teams Up With Nonprofits to Feed Elderly New Yorkers
The gracious nonprofit organizations that help care for New Yorkers in need sometimes need a little help, too.
Citymeals on Wheels serves homebound elderly New Yorkers and on occasion partners with other nonprofits to carry out its great work. One of those partners is the Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center. Delivering Meals on Wheels is among the many services the Isaacs Center provides to low-income and aging families.
When these great organizations needed additional support to feed NYC families during the pandemic, RDS Same Day Delivery was happy to lend a hand—or, more specifically, several couriers. Over the course of a few weeks, RDS dispatched a team of couriers to deliver thousands of meals to senior citizen shut-ins.
We are proud to be able to use the meal delivery expertise we developed and fine-tuned over the past 10 months to help our community.

Holiday Celebration Honors RDS Heroes
RDS employees are among the fearless workers who have been on the front lines keeping the economy humming throughout the pandemic. We are proud of their dedication and cooperation; we consider them heroes.
On Dec. 23, we spent two hours celebrating the holiday season and thanking everyone for their perfect attendance and tireless efforts this year. Our monthly gatherings strengthen our team culture and connections so that everyone feels happy and motivated at work—and the holiday party was no exception. We wore festive pajamas, enjoyed delicious food, played games (competed for prizes, of course), exchanged gifts and distributed holiday bonuses.
We are grateful for our committed team members and look forward to working together to make 2021 a prosperous year for our clients and community.
We Value Our Industry Connections
To bolster our mission of offering our clients the best possible service, RDS President Larry Zogby stays actively involved with industry organizations so that he can learn from his peers and renowned experts. As vice president of the New York State Messenger and Courier Association, where he has been serving alongside NYSMCA President John Rutigliano, Zogby also shares his own industry experience to help others improve.
Rutigliano, vice president at A-1 International, last month joined Zogby at the RDS headquarters where both men participated in the association’s virtual holiday event. Zogby presented Rutigliano with a congratulatory plaque commemorating his two years as president.
