They have always risen to any occasion with their dedication and work ethic—which is why we enjoy celebrating people all year.

Most recently, we held a team bonding event to celebrate three employee birthdays with a rousingly fun corn hole tournament.

RDS Teams Up With SL Green Realty Corp. to Deliver Meals!

meals2.jpgCongratulations to our client, SL Green Realty Corp.! During a ribbon-cutting ceremony Sept. 14 in NYC, the company celebrated the opening of One Vanderbilt Avenue on 42nd Street—the second-tallest office building in the city standing at 1,401 feet. One Vanderbilt is the largest project in SL Green’s 40-year history—and we couldn’t be prouder to have this outstanding business as our partner.

That same day, as part of the celebration, RDS delivered more than 15,000 meals to front line heroes and community-based organizations throughout New York City—courtesy of SL Green’s 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, Food1st Foundation. Since April when the pandemic was very new to all of us, RDS has been working with Food1st and other organizations on meal delivery. To date, we’ve delivered more than 200,000 meals!

October Is National Disability Employment Awareness Month!

Every year, we make a point to recognize National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). As a big supporter of workers with disabilities, we are honored to raise community awareness through this important observance. For more than 20 years, RDS has been proudly recruiting—and employing—staffers with disabilities.

“We have found it is a win-win situation for all,” President Larry Zogby said. “These employees have awesome attitudes and great demeanor and are very hard working. Our clients recognize their abilities and are happy to support us as we serve this often underappreciated part of our community.”

As an annual champion of NDEAM, Larry Zogby was grateful to once again attend the NDEAM Award Ceremony at the Heritage Club in Long Island.

Plus, our outreach and support has made waves through other areas of the state, too! Our president also was awarded a citation for his close involvement in making Brooklyn a better place! The award was presented by the former Brooklyn borough president. Congrats to Larry and team!

RDS Shares Delivery Solutions With New Clients

Since COVID-19 hit, it’s been more difficult to rely on “real” people interaction. ZOOM meetings, virtual learning and video conferences have replaced what we used to take for granted—simply being with people. At RDS, our doors have been open since March, but in the last 45 days, we’ve had many prospects, customers and vendors visit us—safely and while practicing social distancing, of course—to discuss their concerns. We’ve listened to their challenges and struggles during this unprecedented time and have recommended solutions and offered new ideas on how to support their deliveries and logistics.
