1. RDS TRANSITCHEK PROGRAM (Available to all foot couriers full or part time).

Reduce the cost of your daily commute and save up to $800.00 per year. Save on the cost of your unlimited monthly metro card and the amount of tax you have to pay by enrolling in the RDS Transitchek program. If you enroll, RDS will reduce the monthly metro card cost to $107.00.

Benefits include unlimited use for 30 days on the subways and buses, unlimited transfers, no waiting in line, no need to budget for transportation, saving up to $800 per year depending on your specific tax scenario.

2. NYC COMMUTER BENEFITS (Available to all full time employees who average more than 30 hours per week over 4 weeks)

Employees can lower monthly expenses by using pre-tax income to pay the full cost for their monthly metro card and save up to 600.00 per year. Your participation is voluntary as you may enroll or decline at any time. If you enroll RDS will distribute 30 day monthly metro card as part of your earnings and by doing so you reduce your taxable wages.

3. RDS HALF FARE CONTRIBUTION (Available to those full or part time couriers that have ½ fare metrocards. This is an alternative to RDS Transitchek program and NYC commuter benefits)

If you have a Reduced Fare Metro card you are eligible for this contribution. If you choose to participate in this benefit, simply purchase an unlimited monthly reduced fare card ($60.50) and use your unlimited reduced fare card for work. RDS agrees to provide a monthly pre tax contribution of $25.00 on your check, on a monthly basis, towards the purchase of your monthly metro card in exchange for your participation and cooperation to use this metro card during the work day. I understand that this is an optional agreement that I may opt out of if I choose.

I accept / decline my employers offer to start receiving RDS’ $25.00 contribution towards my purchase of an unlimited reduced fare monthly Metro card which I will use for work and personal use.

4. Borrowing RDS Weekly Cards (Available to all full or part time couriers who begin and end at base)

Until you receive your first Transitchek metro card or half fare contribution, you may collect a metro card from dispatch at the start of your shift to use for your work day. Company metro cards must be returned to dispatch at the end of each work day. Failure to return the metro card on a daily basis is a violation of company policy that could lead to termination.

Just came upon RDS Same Day Delivery the other day when I urgently needed a package delivered the same day. Their customer service is great; and Sofia is super helpful and responsive! Their service was fast, and the delivery person I met was pleasant. The email alerts include the name & picture of the person who is handling the delivery, and I received notifications when the package was delivered as well.
