Re: Excessive Tickets

Please refer to the list on the next section, which details the tickets issued while you were operating an RDS Delivery vehicle. These include violations captured by traffic cameras and/or written citations.

As explained during your orientation, all drivers are expected to operate company vehicles responsibly and in full compliance with all traffic, toll, and parking regulations. You are required to:

• Be aware of and follow all posted signs regarding stopping, standing, and parking to avoid citations.

Do not park or drive in designated bus lanes at any time. These are monitored by traffic cameras and are a frequent cause of costly violations.

• Ensure the vehicle is in proper working order at all times, including lights, registration, and inspection status.

• Follow all traffic laws and road signs, and refrain from idling or using your phone while driving.

• Keep the EZ Pass clearly visible on the windshield or dashboard to avoid toll violations.

• Use the ParkNYC app to purchase and manage meter time when parking in applicable zones.

Violations such as toll evasion, illegal parking, driving in bus lanes, and other traffic infractions impact our operations and our reputation with customers. These violations also create unnecessary financial liability for the company and put your driving privileges—and your continued employment with RDS at risk.

You are responsible for preventing these violations. Repeated offenses are considered misconduct, which may lead to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
