Our Holiday Bash Was an Absolute Smash!
At RDS Same Day Delivery, we pulled out all of the stops this year to celebrate the holidays with our team, our customers, and even some of our competitors. That’s right! We promised it would be a “can’t miss” event—and, boy, did we deliver!
RDS transformed our warehouse at 37-41 Vernon Blvd., Long Island City, NY, into the perfect RDS-themed party venue. It was complete with custom-designed door wraps and green, yellow, and white balloons, plus many other festive party decorations. The goal was to create a merry and bright space where everyone could have a good time. And we sure did!
We spent the evening eating, talking, laughing, and playing casino games, including blackjack and roulette. Speaking of games, have you ever tried to race against the clock to unwrap presents while wearing mittens? We did! And we had a blast doing it!
During the evening, we gave out prizes, which included a 42-inch flat-screen TV, Apple AirPods, an Oculus Quest reality headset, an air fryer, and more. And most exciting of all, some of our party-goers earned the opportunity to enter our Money Machine and grab as much cash as they could in 20 seconds.

Santa and Santa’s Helpers were on hand to cheer on game competitors, hand out prizes, and pose for holiday pictures with everyone.
At the end of the evening, we celebrated what really makes RDS special—our employees. We handed out more than 21 different awards to members of our hardworking team along with $25 gift cards. Award categories included: Hall of Fame Hero, Leadership and Training, Overall Performance, Most Versatile, Multi-tasker and Attendance.
Of course, a lot of the credit goes to our fearless leader, Larry Zogby, who had the vision to think outside of the box and make this a fun, memorable night for everyone who attended.
