RDS Teams Up with Chamber, NYC to Deliver PPE to Small Businesses

We are proud to support our community and have found there are countless opportunities to get involved in meaningful ways. An organization that does great work as a strong advocate for the community and small businesses is the Queens Chamber of Commerce, led by President and CEO Thomas Grech. The chamber, of which RDS President Larry Zogby is a member, collaborates with city government entities such as NYC Small Business Services.

The two organizations identified a need, and Zogby jumped at an opportunity for RDS to help—by picking up and storing hundreds of thousands of face masks in our Long Island City warehouse. From there, RDS can distribute them to small businesses who need them to stop the spread of COVID-19. When people join forces toward a common goal, positive things happen!

Parties Pay Off: Thanking Team Boosts Morale

At RDS, we work hard for you—and we play hard, too. When we carve out time to celebrate our professional success with fun, games and a little friendly competition, it unites us, keeps spirits high and sparks enthusiasm. Our most recent festivities included tacos and a game similar to “Let’s Make a Deal.” Each of our RDS colleagues received $100 in tickets to play; they could keep them or trade to buy gifts. There were fun gifts, gag gifts, cool gifts and cash—and therefore, lots of laughs. Morale-boosting activities like this one result in the best possible teamwork, customer service and results for our valued customers.
